• A leading financial institution is currently recruiting qualified professionals for its Retail Banking Recruitment Bootcamp - Relationship Manager role across multiple regions in Nigeria.

Relationship Manager - North Division

Location: Northern Nigeria

Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years (Banking - Marketing & Credit)

Relationship Manager - Lagos, South-West, South-East & South-South

Job ID: 1786

Location: Lagos & Southern Regions

Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years (including at least 2 years in a managerial role)

Key Responsibilities

Source and onboard new customers while maintaining existing accounts

Market and sell banking products to meet customer needs

• Monitor loan portfolios and detect early signs of default
• Drive revenue growth and achieve set financial targets
• Resuscitate dormant accounts and ensure zero inactive portfolios
• Provide excellent customer service and relationship management
• Supervise and support retail marketing teams (for senior roles)
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and risk standards
• Prepare timely reports and support business strategy execution

Job Objectives

• Drive sales and grow the bank’s deposit base
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Increase profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction
• Identify new business opportunities and expand client portfolios

Job Requirements

Education

• Minimum of a First Degree (B.Sc. or equivalent)
• Business-related disciplines preferred
• MBA or professional certifications are an added advantage

Experience

• North Role: Minimum of 3 years relevant banking experience
• South Role: Minimum of 5 years experience, including at least 2 years in a management role
