About the Role

Seeking a curious, eager to learn professional to kickstart their recruitment career by mastering the "engine room" of our hiring processes and driving a world-class candidate experience.

Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: 

You will execute recurring administrative tasks to keep recruitment operations running smoothly, ensuring 100% data accuracy in all trackers and documentation.

  • Candidate Experience: You will facilitate the candidate screening process, including CV longlisting and interview scheduling, and provide professional, timely communication to ensure every candidate has the best experience.
  • ATS Management: You will maintain the candidate database (Applicant Tracking System), ensuring all applicant statuses are up to date and helping extract basic data for weekly reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement: In collaboration with your manager, you will assist in identifying bottlenecks in the recruitment flow and support the rollout of new tools or process updates.
  • Logistics/Coordination: You will manage the logistics for interview panels, ensuring all interviewers have the necessary materials and candidates are well-briefed.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and provide operational support to the Team as required.

Qualifications

  • Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for.

For this role specifically, you will have:

Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of study.

6 months to 1 year of recruitment or HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about the work we do at One Acre Fund for Smallholder Farmers.

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse) is a plus.
  • Basic data analysis skills - you can pick out patterns.
  • Great learning skills, curious, and a knack for attention to detail.
  • A strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English is required.

  • Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.

Benefits:

  • Interns will be provided with a reasonable stipend for the duration of their contract. Rural area based fellows will be provided assistance in locating suitable housing.
