UNICEF’s Nigeria country programme: 

Aims to accelerate the realization of the rights of all 

You will bridge operational delivery by liaising regularly with multiple units Programme, Operations, Finance, Supply and with external partners (government ministries, NGOs, donors).

  • Under the supervision and guidance of the Health Manager for HSS cluster of Health Section, you will provide specialized programme and administrative support to facilitate the development, implementation and monitoring of UNICEF's programmes.
  • The role involves substantial engagement in data analysis, budget tracking, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and compliance with organizational rules.
  • You will exercises judgment, anticipates needs, and recommends actions that contribute to programme planning, implementation and reporting results.

Summary of key functions/accountabilities:

Project Management and Implementing Partnership Coordination

Data Management, Analysis & Reporting 

  • Grant Management, Budget Monitoring and Reporting 
  • Digital Innovation & Operational Efficiency 
  • Communication, Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination

Minimum requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary education is required.

Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of administrative or clerical work experience is required.

Skills:

  • Project Management
  • Create project plans, objectives and deliverables.
  • Track and organize resources like time, budget, and team efforts.
  • Identify and report potential risks for further guidance

Language Requirements: 

  • Fluency in English is required.

Desirables:

Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language

  • Professional and/or university courses related to the field of work are highly desirable.
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.

Qualification:

  • Secondary School (SSCE), HND or Degree
