About Call for ERAD 2.0 Data Clerks
The Election Result Analysis Dashboard (ERAD) is Yiaga Africa's platform for tracking, aggregating, analysing, and visualising election results in near real time, while independently monitoring INEC's IReV portal performance.
- ERAD gives citizens, media, civil society, politicians, and other stakeholders a transparent view of election outcomes as they unfold.
- For the 2027 General Elections, Yiaga Africa is recruiting Data Clerks to support results data entry at the ERAD 2.0 Data Center.
Data Clerks are responsible for accurately capturing and entering election result data collected from polling units into the ERAD system on election day, under the coordination of Floor Managers and the ERAD in-house team.
Objectives
Retrieve and review polling unit result sheets (e.g., Form EC8A) as uploaded to INEC's IReV portal
- Accurately extract and enter result data into the ERAD platform within assigned timeframes
- Flag discrepancies, missing results, or irregularities to the Floor Manager/Tech Support team
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity throughout the entry and cross-checks
- Meet assigned entry targets and deadlines on election day
- Participate in mandatory pre-election training and simulation(s)
Who Should Apply
- Must be a Nigerian citizen
- 18 years and above
- Own a functional laptop or can get one to use
- High computer literacy and comfort with data entry tools/spreadsheets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure
- Availability for all mandatory trainings and election period
- Available to work day/night shifts
- Be resident in Abuja
- Be non-partisan
Selection Criteria
- Candidates will be reviewed on a rolling basis and shortlisted candidates will be notified.
