Women for Women International is an International non-governmental organization whose mandate includes providing women survivors of wars, civil strife and other conflicts resources for survival, reduce poverty level and ensure their self-sufficiency. 

  • The organization, with headquarters in Washington DC, USA, has country offices in eight countries, including Nigeria. 
  • We implement a 12-months training and education program designed to improve key social and economic outcomes for the most socially excluded women. 
  • The program targets every aspect of women’s lives; health and wellbeing (including nutrition, hygiene & HIV/AIDS prevention and protection), economic stability, family decision making and social safety nets.

Background

Women for Women International invests where inequality is greatest by helping women who are forgotten - the women survivors of war and conflict.

In Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda, and South Sudan, women learn skills to rebuild their families and communities through the Women for Women International’s Stronger Women, Stronger Nations Programme.

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Interim Global People Capability and Culture (PCC) Systems Officer to start as soon as possible on a fixed term contract until January 2027 (maternity cover).

  • This role can be based in any of the following locations – UK, Germany, Iraq or Nigeria.
  • The PCC Systems Officer sits within the Global PCC team to help manage and enhance our HR Information Systems (HRIS) across multiple countries.

You will act as the first point of support for PCC systems users, maintain and optimise our HRIS (including BambooHR, PinPoint and other platforms), and contribute to global initiatives such as engagement surveys, performance review cycles, onboarding/offboarding, and retention.

  • In this role, you will need to be a specialist who can provide support, manage and optimize our HRIS systems and processes that shape the full employee lifecycle.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of our HRIS, including data management, reporting, providing advice, training and troubleshooting of issues, partner with vendors, support policy implementation, and generate meaningful data insights to inform decision-making.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

A Degree in HR, IT, Business Administration or a related field, with 2 – 3 years experience in HRIS management

  • Strong data management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (if English is not first language, to be fluent both in written and verbal)
  • Excellent MS Office skills especially high-level Excel capability
  • Able to project manage and meet deadlines
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a global environment
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate global team coordination
  • You will be organised, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing projects and multiple priorities.
  • Experience with data privacy regulations and HRIS platforms is essential

Previous charity sector experience is desirable; however, transferable talents will also be considered for this role.
