ImpactHER is an impact driven nonprofit organization that seeks to empower African female entrepreneurs by bridging the gender business financing gap so as to help African female entrepreneurs realize their full economic potential.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to support our legal and compliance functions.
- This is a full-time internship designed to provide hands-on experience in NGO operations, women-focused entrepreneurship programs, and legal advisory support.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with legal research and drafting of legal documents
Support contract review and documentation
- Assist with compliance, governance, and regulatory matters
- Support program teams with legal insights related to entrepreneurship and business law
- Maintain legal records and documentation
- Perform other legal-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Recent law graduate or final-year law student
Strong interest in NGO work, women empowerment, and entrepreneurship
- Basic knowledge of corporate, commercial, or NGO law
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Internship Details
- This is a full-time, unpaid internship
- Monthly stipend will be provided
- Data/internet subscription will be provided
Duration: 12 months
