About the Role

‎Avocado Virtual Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Social Media Manager (Cultural & Educational Content).

We are seeking a highly creative, efficient, proactive, and excellence-driven professional who can significantly elevate brand visibility, engagement, and dominance in the cultural education space.
‎This role requires professional-level video editing and graphics design competence, strong storytelling ability, and the creative capacity to upgrade the overall quality of content beyond basic execution.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate originality, efficiency in delivery, proactive communication, and a clear commitment to excellence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred).

Minimum 2–4 years proven experience managing and growing social media accounts, preferably in educational or children-focused content.

Demonstrated professional competence in video editing and graphics design (portfolio required).
Advanced proficiency in Canva and professional video editing tools ( CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
Strong storytelling ability with evidence of high-retention content performance.
Experience managing email marketing platforms and building automated sequences.
Must provide links to previously managed pages and creative portfolio.
‎Of Igbo descent or fluent in Igbo language with strong cultural understanding (highly preferred).

Must demonstrate efficiency, proactiveness, attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to excellence.
