The organization focuses on promoting self-reliance through empowerment initiatives, particularly targeting women, youth, and other marginalized groups. 

REBHI works to address critical social challenges by implementing programs that enhance livelihoods, health, and protection outcomes.

  • Rehabilitation Empowerment and Better Health Initiative (REBHI) is a national non-governmental organization committed to improving the well-being of vulnerable communities. 

Role:

The Enumerator will play a vital role in supporting these efforts by collecting high-quality quantitative and qualitative data from community members. 

  • This includes conducting structured interviews, surveys, Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), especially among women, girls, and other vulnerable populations.
  • The role requires a strong understanding of gender-sensitive approaches to ensure that data collected reflects the unique experiences, risks, and needs of different groups.
  • Enumerators are expected to use mobile data collection tools such as ODK and KoBo Toolbox to gather and submit accurate and complete data on a daily basis. 
  • They must ensure confidentiality, obtain informed consent from participants, and maintain a respectful and culturally sensitive approach during all interactions. 
  • Creating a safe and supportive environment is essential, particularly when discussing sensitive topics such as protection risks and gender-based violence.

In addition to data collection, Enumerators will report progress, highlight challenges, and ensure compliance with ethical standards, including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) guidelines. 

Educational Requirements:

Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of one year in humanitarian or NGO-related data collection.

  • The position requires resilience, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills, as work will be conducted in challenging environments. 
  • Fluency in English and local dialects is essential. 
  • This short-term role (3 days) is based in Bama and Konduga, with three Enumerators per LGA.
