Program Assistant at Nutrition International
About the role
The Program Assistant is to provide high-quality program, project coordination and administrative support that enables the effective planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of Nutrition International’s programs.
- The Program Assistant ensures efficient coordination of grants, contracts, meetings, budgets, documentation and program operations while maintaining compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements and internal systems.
Responsibilities
Assist Program Officers with documentation required for programme activities in accordance with the Program Finance Processes and Procedures Manual.
- Prepare and process grant agreements, contracts, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, travel authorizations, travel letters, project extensions, amendments, and close-out documentation.
- Lead the preparation of contracting documents, including P-REQs, PRFs, Project Closure Sheets, draft contracts in CLM, and travel letters.
- Support programme activity implementation through field travel, participant registration, attendance lists, and participant payment documentation.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, trainings, and field activities.
- Arrange participant registration, travel logistics, and payment documentation.
- Support procurement and logistics activities, including sourcing quotations and preparing procurement documents.
- Arrange vehicle hire and liaise with vendors in line with procurement policies.
- Obtain competitive quotations, maintain procurement records, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of approved goods and services.
- Assist the line manager with scheduling programme meetings and attend meetings to take detailed notes when required.
- Support effective programme documentation, coordination, and reporting.
- Contribute to ensuring that programme activities are implemented efficiently and within approved procedures and timelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related field from a recognized university or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant administrative and program support experience
- Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience working with database, an asset.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary: ₦12,635,436 – ₦14,500,000 per annum.
