LANI Group has announced an immediate recruitment exercise for qualified Enumerators to support an ongoing multi-state survey across selected Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Nigeria.

Overview of the Assignment

The engagement involves participation in a short-term field data collection exercise being implemented across several states, including:

• Benue
• Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
• Kogi
• Kwara
• Nasarawa
• Niger
• Plateau
• Ekiti
• Lagos
• Ogun
• Ondo
• Osun
• Oyo

The assignment is designed to support a structured survey aimed at gathering field-level data across diverse communities and administrative areas. 

• Enumerators will be deployed within their respective LGAs of residence to ensure effective local coverage, accessibility, and efficient field operations.

Role of Enumerators

Selected enumerators will be responsible for supporting primary data collection activities in line with the study objectives. 

• The role is field-based and requires individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working within structured survey guidelines. 

Enumerators Needed From LANI Group are expected to carry out these tasks with diligence.

• Enumerators will be expected to contribute to the successful execution of the survey by ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality data collection from respondents across selected communities.

Key Responsibilities

Enumerators engaged by LANI Group will be expected to perform the following tasks:

Conduct face-to-face interviews with selected respondents in assigned LGAs

Administer structured questionnaires using paper-based or digital data collection tools

• Ensure accurate recording of responses in line with survey protocols
• Follow all instructions provided during training and field briefing sessions
• Maintain neutrality, professionalism, and ethical standards during data collection
• Verify completeness and consistency of collected data before submission
• Report daily field progress to field supervisors or designated coordinators
• Adhere strictly to timelines and fieldwork schedules

Ensure respectful engagement with respondents and community members

Eligibility Criteria

The recruitment exercise is open to candidates who meet the following conditions:

Must be resident within one of the listed LGAs across the targeted states

Must possess a minimum of secondary school  education; higher education is an advantage

• Prior experience in survey data collection, field research, or enumeration is highly desirable
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse populations
• Must be detail-oriented and capable of following structured instructions accurately
• Must be available for the full duration of the assignment
• Must be willing to work under field conditions, which may involve travel within LGAs

Duration and Nature of Engagement

The assignment is a short-term engagement lasting approximately one month or less, depending on field progress and completion timelines. 

• It is strictly a temporary assignment and does not imply long-term employment. 
• For any candidates interested, it is important to note that Enumerators Needed From LANI Group are for temporary roles only.
• Compensation for selected enumerators will be stipend-based, provided in line with fieldwork participation and performance expectations.
