CIVICUS Remote Internship (Nationwide)
CIVICUS is inviting applications for the position of Research Intern, a remote, part-time opportunity designed for individuals passionate about civil society, research, and global development.
- This 12-month internship offers a monthly stipend of USD 600 and provides valuable exposure to international research and advocacy work.
- The Research Intern will be part of the organization’s Research cluster, reporting directly to the Head of Research and Analysis.
- The role focuses on supporting key publications such as the CIVICUS Lens platform and the State of Civil Society Report, both of which contribute to global conversations on civic space and citizen action.
- In this role, the intern will conduct desk research, review literature, and gather relevant information for ongoing research projects.
- They will identify and engage potential interviewees, conduct and transcribe interviews, and produce written content for reports and publications.

Beyond research, the intern will contribute to publication and dissemination efforts by assisting with editing research outputs and coordinating follow-up activities.

Qualification:
Applicants should have a degree in a social science or a related field (or be close to completing one), along with strong writing and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required, while additional languages such as French or Spanish are an advantage.

- Experience in qualitative research, familiarity with civil society issues, and skills in digital tools such as Canva or data visualization platforms are considered added advantages.
