Women in Global Health Nigeria is currently seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join its field research team as Data Enumerators for 2026.

Key objectives of the project include:
Evaluating how digital health campaigns incorporate gender considerations in planning and delivery
- Assessing gender disparities in access, reach, and engagement across digital platforms
- Identifying socio-cultural, economic, and technological barriers affecting women and marginalized groups
- Developing a Gender Inclusion Framework for future health campaigns
- Creating capacity-building resources for stakeholders on gender-responsive communication
Role Summary
The Data Enumerator will play a critical role in field operations by collecting high-quality data to support the research objectives.
- They will serve as a direct link between the research team and local communities, ensuring that all information gathered is accurate, ethical, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
Conducting household surveys and structured interviews using digital tools such as KoboToolbox
- Supporting or facilitating Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs)
- Ensuring informed consent and maintaining strict confidentiality standards
- Uploading collected data daily and reporting field challenges promptly
- Maintaining accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all collected data.
Expected Deliverables
- Accurate and error-free survey and interview data
- Daily logs showing timely submission of collected data
- Detailed field reports highlighting observations and challenges encountered
Eligibility Criteria & Locations
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must currently reside in one of the 12 designated research locations:
- North West: Kano, Kaduna
- North East: Bauchi, Adamawa
- North Central: Abuja, Kwara
- South West: Lagos, Oyo
- South East: Enugu, Anambra
- South South: Edo, Cross River
Qualification:
- Minimum qualification of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree
- Proven experience in both quantitative and qualitative data collection
- Strong digital literacy, especially with mobile data collection tools
- Fluency in relevant local languages within the state of residence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
