One Acre Fund is seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical professional to join its team as a Nigeria Data Coordinator. This role supports the Trees Sustainability program, focusing on centralizing data systems, improving reporting across teams, and enhancing field execution through dashboards, surveys, and insights that directly benefit farmers.

  • Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund currently supports over 5.5 million smallholder farmers across nine African countries. 
  • Through the provision of farm inputs, training, credit, and tree seedlings, the organization helps farmers increase productivity, income, and long-term resilience.

About the Role

The Nigeria Data Coordinator will play a key role in managing and optimizing data across the Trees Sustainability workstream. 

  • The position involves coordinating reporting systems, tracking program performance, and providing actionable insights to improve outcomes for farmers. 
  • The role also includes regular field engagement (“Gemba”) to ensure data-driven decisions are aligned with real-world implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and support execution of Trees Sustainability initiatives

Develop and maintain dashboards tracking performance indicators

  • Consolidate and manage program data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Conduct budget variance analysis and provide performance insights
  • Design and support farmer surveys for program improvement
  • Train field teams on data collection and reporting standards
  • Document learnings, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in agroforestry or agricultural field programs
  • Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture Economics, International Development, or related fields
  • Strong data analysis and dashboard development skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
