Role Overview
The Project Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership within the REACH Program, supporting the delivery of community-based healthcare services.
- The role focuses on strengthening partnerships, coordinating program implementation, and ensuring effective service delivery across assigned operations.
- The position reports to the Senior Manager, REACH and is based in Kano, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Planning
The Project Manager provides technical and strategic guidance to the REACH management team, supporting the design and implementation of effective partnership strategies.
- The role also involves identifying new collaboration opportunities across government and non-government sectors to expand program impact.
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships
The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.
- The Project Manager is responsible for negotiating and managing partnership agreements, including MOUs and SLAs, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.
Program Delivery and Coordination
The Project Manager oversees daily operational activities, ensuring smooth implementation of community health interventions.
- Responsibilities include supervising staff recruitment, training, and performance management, as well as ensuring effective coordination of field activities and health outreach events.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants are expected to have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
- At least 5 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data collection, analysis, M&E, or quality assurance
- Strong skills in data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and statistical software
- Experience in technical writing, including reports, proposals, SOPs, and documentation
- Proven ability to design and deliver training sessions and workshops
- Strong research, presentation, and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Remuneration and Benefits
The position offers a monthly gross salary of ₦780,000, along with:
