Air Peace Limited, Nigeria’s largest airline and flag carrier, is currently recruiting qualified candidates for the position of Flight Dispatcher across multiple locations nationwide.
Role:
The role is based within the Operations Control Centre and involves ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations.
- The Flight Dispatcher will share operational control with the Pilot-in-Command (PIC), including authorizing and releasing flights in line with approved flight plans and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities:
Developing and monitoring operational and ATS flight plans, analyzing weather and operational conditions to optimize routing and fuel requirements, and maintaining continuous flight watch.
- The role also requires managing irregular operations such as delays, diversions, and emergencies, while coordinating with maintenance teams, flight operations, and airport units to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualification:
Applicants must possess a minimum of a BSc, HND, or equivalent qualification, along with a valid NCAA Flight Dispatcher License.
- A minimum of two years’ hands-on experience as a licensed Flight Dispatcher is required.
- Candidates should have strong knowledge of weather interpretation, flight planning systems, aircraft performance, NCAA regulations, and ICAO standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and flight planning software, as well as excellent communication and decision-making skills, are essential.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from ₦365,000 to ₦900,000 and requires the ability to work in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment.
