Summary
PalmPay is seeking a Call Verification Officer who will be responsible for conducting outbound verification calls to customers, confirming information provided during onboarding and loan application processes, and ensuring compliance with internal verification standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound calls to verify customer information and documentation.
- Perform prequalification checks based on defined criteria.
- Accurately document call outcomes and customer responses.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies, inconsistencies or potential red flags.
- Follow established verification procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate professionally with customers throughout the verification process.
Qualifications & Requirements
0 to 1 year of experience in Customer Service, Customer Relations, Call Centre Operations, Verification or a related role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to speak Hausa. Non-Hausa-speaking candidates will not be considered.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Candidates must reside in Ikeja or its immediate environs. This is a mandatory requirement.
- Ability to pay attention to details and accurately capture customer information.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies and escalate issues appropriately.
